After the Blackwell series another Point & Click, which I really liked to play. We had an interview with the developer yesterday discussing the game more in many areas Disclosure: I was given a key by the publisher to review. I also have to say that I've looked into a walkthrough from time to time, because I'm standing on the hose and I often don't feel the need to combine things randomly and search everything pixel by pixel without the hotspot display. Technobabylon is out now on Steam, GOG.com, and Wadjet Eye Games now for 15, with a free demo covering the first 30 minutes. If you let it affect you completely, the game will take a little longer. Tim has been playing PC games for longer than hes. As I tend to be impatient, I like to click through the dialogues because I read faster than the characters talk. PC Invasion jacks into the morally grey cyberpunk world of Technobabylon. It's ranked in the top 14 of games and recommended by 88 of critics. Technobabylon has pretty much all of these things in some way, shape, or form, and it beautifully paints a picture of a very believable futuristic world and the sort of issues that might arise. Con:- No hotspot display- Technically a bit bitchy, Steam overlay and Alt+Tab like to cause problems- No German textsPro: I like the speakers - Story interesting from beginning to end with at least two possible ends- Alternative solutions in some places- Interesting puzzles that are not too difficultConclusion:I had seven nice hours with the game. Technobabylon is rated 'Strong' after being reviewed by 17 critics, with an overall average score of 82. Overview Pros & Cons Reviews Price: 15 An old school point-and-click adventure with a captivating story, strong characters, and a rich, well-realised sci-fi setting. Its all-seeing CEL police force keeps tabs on everyone, including three people who are about to meet their maker. Technobabylon ’s no Blade Runner or Neuromancer, but at the very least it proves some of the most talented storytellers and world builders in the gaming sphere are still working in. There are a few minor flaws, but they don't spoil the fun. The year 2087 is upon us a future where genetic engineering is the norm, the addictive Trance has replaced almost any need for human interaction, and an omnipresent AI named Central powers the city. Tl dr A great point & click adventure with gripping story in a cyberpunk setting.
